Yakisugi or Shou Sugi Ban is an ancient Japanese tradition of woodworking using fire. The surface carbonization enhances its characteristics and textures making the material more resistant to atmospheric agents and parasites for an ideally secular duration. All products can be supplied with certified fire retardant treatments in compliance with the most stringent fire regulations. Where required, the combination of Yakita boards with our natural insulation panels allows the installation of sustainable, effective and long-lasting thermal coats.
