Wood is a renewable material. Biodegradable. Suitable to build small-sized artifacts and also big anti-seismic structures. It's the oldest energy source, durable for hundreds of years, created from carbon in atmosphere and therefore able to absorb a considerable part of CO2 emissions responsible for the climate crisis. Sustainability and environmental impact are important strengths of FB tranciati. In fact, the reduced environmental impact of the wood-slicing technique is compliant with all the principles of bio-sustainability. All our woods come from certified forests that respect the natural growth cycle of vegetation. The collective perception identifies the production of wood as something very far from the ecology concept. In fact, the cut of each single tree corresponds to a correct and careful selection where only the most mature and suitable specimens are piked up and transported to processing. The rest of the vegetation remains intact allowing natural regrowth to guarantee a continuous renewal of the forests.
